Motorola sells Linux-based device after announcement about its cooperation in February 2003. Unlike Symbian-based handhelds or Windows Mobile, Linux takes advantage to begin enters phone business. Talking about design, black dressing chassis from Motorola ROKR E6 is reminiscent of the classic Razr lineup with control using laser engraving, at old generation. ROKR E6 uses touch screen input, so users prefer use hardware buttons than the ROKR Z6 slider. Motorokr E6 gives you stay organized and up-to-date with rockin' PDA features such as email, document viewer and PIM. Unlike most of LCD touch screen phone with a little beneath surface of the casing, ROKR E6 really flat and creating a kind of circle around it. Instead, the panel beneath layer is transparent plastic. E6 is not the lightest phone around, nor is the thinnest (14.5mm), but has a very good quality.

As previously mentioned, ROKR E6 is not like a sister to iTunes that appear before it. In fact, ROKR E6 is placed at Smartphone category because it can be said a smart phones such as E1 and E2, both of design and features side. This ROKR, had a 3.5 mm audio jack, Digital Card slot up to 2 GB. As a multi-media player, RealPlayer was installed capable of playing formats such as AAC, AAC, DRM, MIDI, MP3, RA, WAV, and WMA. E6 also supports Bluetooth stereo so it can use wireless stereo headsets. E6 battery provides seven hours of talk time and standby time is 235 hours. This phone has A2DP Bluetooth support and 3.5 mm audio jack. This is a great phone and a digital card slot can be upgraded.
